How To Book The War Memorial Building
- Check the online calendar for available dates for your event.
Please note that events are posted on the calendar after
SMC receives a signed rental agreement AND full payment, including
security deposit.
- Call 304-876-3323, press option 1, and leave your name and
telephone number (slowly, please) and the date and nature of
your proposed event. A reservationist will return your call
within 24 hours (weekdays).
- If a tentative reservation from someone else has been received
for the date you desire, the reservationist will provide the other
person the opportunity to secure their reservation or release it.
- Once you have agreed upon a tentative date and any other conditions
with our reservationist, read over and print out the Rental Agreement,
Alcohol Addendum, and User Checklist.
- Fill out and mail in the Rental Agreement and (if applicable) the
Alcohol Addendum. Please remember that reservations are secured only
after SMC receives full payment (including security deposit) AND a
signed Rental Agreement. At that time, your event is posted on our
Web calendar.
- After the event, complete and mail in the User Checklist for a
refund of your deposit (if applicable).
